On iPhones and iPads, press and hold down on one of the following letters or symbols to see a list of variations of it. Slide your finger to the one you want, then release.

macOS

On Macs and MacBooks, press and hold down one of the following keys on your keyboard to see a list of variations of it. After the list appears, press the number next to the variant you want, or use your mouse to click on it. They also work on iPads that have a physical keyboard connected.

Only letters are supported. For other characters, try using alt codes or copy pasting characters.
