Some Easter egg words, phrases, or emojis can change the background color of a Note. These are called Note Decorations. Many are limited-time and may not work in the future. These are secret, but this page lists all the known variations!

Notes related to Halloween, such as certain monsters or other phrases, appear orange with a pumpkin emoji 🎃. Many of the phrases also seem to work in Direct Messages, which also makes orange bats fly across your screen, along with the orange message bubble and emoji.

Notes related to Sabrina Carpenter's new album, Short n' Sweet, appeared blue with a kissing emoji.
